BEAVER FALLS TIGERS 2005
2005 was a tremendous year of growth for the Beaver Falls baseball program. The coaching staff, playing field, and even the uniforms were new. The Tigers played their first game at Tiger Field against the Mohawk Warriors on April 15, 2005 in front of a crowd of over 500 spectators. The Tigers won the section game by a score of 7-5. The Tigers won six other section games in 2005 which was good enough for a second place finish and a trip to the WPIAL playoffs. The Tigers won their first round game against the Carlynton Cougars by a score of 5-1, their first playoff victory in over ten years.BC Times Article on First Game at Tiger Field
