Beaver Falls Tigers Baseball 1992

5-10 Overall Record; 5-10 Section Record
The Beaver Falls Varsity baseball team suffered through a tough season. The team finished with a 5-10 record. This record does not accurately reflect the character of this team however. A hit here, a hit there and this team has a winning record. Coach Keeley's squad will leave a good nucleus for the upcoming campaign.
A number of individual performances helped smooth over the rough spots of the season. The leading hitter was junior Carl Kaszer who had a .372 batting average. Junior To Pifer was second on the team with a .357 average. Senior Ed Barnhouse led the defense by doing a fine job at shortstop. Chuck Goff was the only pitcher in the section to defeat Blackhawk. He defeated league champion Blackhawk twice giving he Cougars their only two section losses.
